I can live with a 10 second delay waiting for it to open.ĬcPortable runs on my 1909 Pro with May 2020 updates. I don’t care if CCleaner wants to access the Internet on every startup, I’m not letting it. Then I recheck to see OneClickFirewall is still blocking CCleaner.
I also download the latest version then disconnect from the Internet before installing it these days then delete the 2 scheduled tasks it always creates and delete the CCleaner Update from Program Files. I’ve been using OneClickFirewall to stop CCleaner from accessing the Internet for a few years now, I think I started doing it about the time they were taken over by Avast. May take longer with older/slower computers. The only thing I’ve noticed is that the last 2 or 3 releases of CCleaner take about 10 seconds to start after clicking the CCleaner icon if you use a firewall to block CCleaner from accessing the Internet. Worked OK with Windbefore I did a clean install of 2004 about a week ago.
I’m running the latest version of CCleaner Free () in Windand it runs fine.
